*Morning Devotion

Morning Devotion is a moment where the students and staffs in the Livingstone House gather to praise the Lord. They will then read a certain chapter of the Bible and share their thoughts about the scripture they read. After that, the meeting will end with a prayer. The Morning Devotion is not a mandatory schedule for students. However, it is encouraged to join this meeting, as it will further enhance the student's wisdom and spirituality.

Saturdays

Picture
Saturdays in the Livingstone House are relatively laid back. The morning schedules are pushed to a later time for a longer sleeping time of the students. Instead of simply studying school materials, the students are required to read some books and practice musical instruments in order to enrich their cultural lives.
Picture
Students are given the chance to eat out instead of having lunch at the dormitory, but only with the condition that they must have someone with them. By doing this, students are able to further improve their relationships with each other. Not to mention, an additional 30 minutes in their free time.
Picture
Curfew time at Saturdays comes relatively soon. This is because of the weekly Saturday Dinner Party. As a form of a barbecue party, it is a rather time consuming process, requiring students to come back home early. Students will draw lots that have their designated table. By doing this, students will get to meet different people on their tables and will have an opportunity to get close to people they barely knew.

*Cultural Arts Night

Just like how the morning events at Saturdays were meant to enrich the students' cultural lives, the Cultural Arts Night is a time dedicated to introduce students to new cultural things. This could be a modern or classical movie, a musical presentation, an opera, or anything that is better for the students to know about. Students will gather up and have a time witnessing the cultural masterpieces of the world.

Sundays

Picture
The students in Livingstone House worship the Lord on their own with the guidance of the staffs and ministers. There are two worship sessions, one on the day and one on the night. The morning worship is done on a relatively conservative format. Classical instruments are used rather than electronic ones, and gospel music will be used for the worship. There will be a special praise by the students of different grades every week. The pastor will be the one to preach the message as well.
Picture
The evening service is meant to be done on a modern style. Students of different grades will form a praise team and practice sessions each time their turn comes. The instruments will also be like a modern band session and the music will be mostly CCMs (Contemporary Christian Music). The message will be preached by either a staff member or sometimes even a student. They will be preparing the message for a week under the supervisation of the pastor.
Picture
The program after the evening worship will be decided by the students under the lead of the *dormitory student council. Every last week of the month, they will gather students and decide which program they will be doing the following month and also gather suggestions for the development of the dormitory. The programs decided will then be discussed with the staff board. Events such as recreational competitions, gift exchanging, and birthday parties will be formed.

*Dormitory Student Council

Just like how the students elect a student council in the school, the students of the dormitory also elect a designated student council of the Livingstone House in order to represent themselves. Only the graduating students could be the president of the council. By doing this, every student will know that they will have their opportunity on their senior years.

Through the experience of being a part of the student council, students can develop leadership before they graduate and reach out to the world. They will get to represent the students and also the situations of the staff members to the students. This will train them to be rather diplomatic and further improve their problem solving skills.

Holidays

Students of the Livingstone House will be having a lot of free time in their holidays. However, they are still required to keep a daily routine for a better lifestyle. Rather than simply spending time with things unrelated with the holiday, the students will seize their day by celebrating the holidays on the way they were intended to.

*Music Festival

In another attempt to enrich the cultural lives of students, The Music Festival is an event that lets each student practice singing a song of a certain genre. The difference here is that the genres they get to experience are meant to be something they have never heard of, like classical operas or the 70s and 80s music. The students will first research the certain song, the background of the musician, and the genre itself. After having a deep understanding, they will try their best to sing the song in the way it was meant to be sang, along with the guidance of the staffs. In the festival, the students will have a brief introduction of the song they sing and perform it to its full extent. There will be judges consisted of the staffs and guests who have incites in the genres the students are performing. Every student will get a price that corresponds to the score they achieved along with having a wider knowledge of music.

Summer / Winter Vacation Stay
