Labor Day (1 May 2019)4/23/2019 According to the Philippines Department of Information and Communications Technology, Labor Day commemorates the hard working people in the Philippines. It was first celebrated in 1 May 1903 by the first labor union, Union Obrero Democratia de Filipinas.
1 May is also celebrated as the International Workers' Day, although some countries celebrate it in a different day. Commemorating this, Union School International will have no classes in 1 May. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday!

Araw ng Kagitingan (9 April 2019)3/24/2019 Araw ng Kagitingan, also known as Bataan Day or Day of Valor, is a public holiday meant to remember the brave people who at the Fall of Bataan during World War II.
As the event happened at 9 April 1942, Union School International is celebrating this holiday this year, at 9 April 2019. Let us have our moments of silence to recognize the courage of the people on this day.
